About Me

Hello, my name is Manuel, I’m a tattooer from Portugal, currently based in the Netherlands.

I have been tattooing for 10 years, and I am known for clean linework, bold traditional pieces, and strong black and grey work. I love creating custom designs with character that fit my customers. Every tattoo is tailored to this purpose: uniqueness and cleanliness.

My personal style is inspired by medieval history and modern tattoo culture. I love reading and exploring museums as much as I enjoy a good talk.

Creating a tattoo that feels personal is always my goal, one that looks timeless and carries the meaning and character of my customer. My target is always long-lasting art that heals perfectly and lives in the skin seamlessly.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my art, and feel free to contact me anytime with any questions.

Aftercare

The First 24 Hours

Keep the wrap on for at least 2–4 hours after your session. Once removed, gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap using only your fingertips — no cloths or sponges. Pat dry with a clean paper towel and apply a thin layer of unscented moisturiser. Avoid touching your tattoo with unwashed hands.

The Healing Phase

From days 2 to 14, wash and moisturise your tattoo with Bepanthen Tattoo or Bepanthen Baby once a day (after your morning shower). Peeling and mild itching are normal — do not pick, scratch, or peel the skin. Wear loose clothing over the area, stay out of direct sunlight, and avoid soaking in baths, pools, or the sea for one week. The tattoo may look dull or cloudy during this stage; this is a normal part of the healing process.

Long-Term Care

Once fully healed (usually 3–4 weeks), keep your tattoo moisturised daily and always apply SPF 50 sunscreen before sun exposure — UV light is the fastest way to fade ink. Staying hydrated and maintaining healthy skin will help keep your tattoo looking sharp for years. If you notice any unusual redness, swelling, or discharge, please contact me via email and include a couple of photos of the tattoo.
